The $100 Benjamin Emcee; also known as Sling Shot. Michael Benjamin aka C-Note began writing rhymes at the age of 13. In those days C-Note was known as MC Pirate. Young C-Note opened for ICE-T, won the local Rap Off twice and starred in a Commercial Spot on YTV.

Michael went on to earn his BA while playing Soccer in the NCAA and although C-Note was away from the stage, the love of the art form never died, he kept writing, keeping the rhyme skills sharp.

Today, the Gentle Giant brings his smooth delivery and abstract lyrics to the forefront with TRIAD!
